1. What does RLT stand for?
RLT stands for Redding Lumber Transport, Inc. When our company began in 1972, we started hauling lumber and building materials throughout California. While lumber is now only a small portion of what we do today, we are still proud to haul lumber and other wood products. Over the years, we have become widely recognized in the market as RLT, Inc.
2. What transportation services does RLT, Inc. provide?
RLT provides refrigerated, dry van, and flatbed transportation, and brokerage/logistics services. We serve a variety of customers throughout the Western United States, with a strong focus on the I-5 corridor.
3. What areas does RLT serve?
RLT primarily serves the Western United States, including California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho, Utah, and surrounding markets depending on the lane, equipment type, and customer needs. We have terminal locations in Redding, California, and Aurora, Oregon.
4. How do I request a freight quote?
You can request a quote through our website by completing the Request a Quote form. Please include as much detail as possible, including pickup and delivery locations, equipment type, commodity, weight, temperature requirements, and shipment frequency. This helps our team provide the most accurate response.
5. Does RLT offer career opportunities for drivers and owner operators?

6.Does RLT allow passengers?
Yes. RLT’s passenger policy allows you to take one (1) rider for a specified time at no cost to the driver. The rider must be at least 10 years of age. Pre-approval and paperwork is required prior to passenger riding in RLT truck.
7.Should I still apply if my driving record isn't perfect?
RLT reviews all motor vehicle records for each driver applicant on a case-by-case basis. Give our team a call to discuss your specific circumstance.
